Orbit is a local-first personal CRM published by Lasdw. This Privacy Policy explains how Orbit handles user and device data.
Summary
Orbit does not require an account. Orbit does not sell data. Orbit does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or cloud sync. The information you enter into the app is stored locally on your device.
What data Orbit handles
Orbit allows you to enter and store information such as:
- names and relationship notes
- meeting notes and follow-up dates
- optional profile details you choose to enter, such as company, role, city, school, phone number, email address, and social links
- tags and other organizational metadata you create inside the app
How data is collected
Orbit only handles information that you manually enter into the app. The current version of Orbit does not import contacts from your device and does not request contacts permission.
How data is used
Data is used only to provide the app's core functionality, including storing people, organizing notes, and helping you remember context for personal and professional relationships.
Data sharing and transmission
Orbit does not transmit, share, or sell the personal information you enter to the developer or to third parties. Data remains on your device unless you choose to export, copy, back up, or share your device data through tools outside the app.
Data storage, retention, and deletion
Data is stored locally on your device using on-device app storage. Data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, or until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data through your device settings.
Security
Orbit uses the storage and security features provided by the operating system and app sandbox. No method of storage is guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but Orbit is designed to minimize exposure by keeping your data local to your device.
Children
Orbit is not designed for children under 13. If you do not intend to distribute the app to children, do not include children under 13 in your Google Play target audience settings.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updated version should be posted at the same public URL used in the app store listing.
